The following is a sampling of the vast array of recycling practices that Las Vegas Color
adheres to.
- PDF Proofs are used when applicable, reducing paper usage for hard copies
- Low Volatile Organic Compounds, Soy Based Inks, reducing damage to the ozone
- FSC certified paper resource
- 100% CTP Plates are used which eliminates the photographic process and its waste stream
- All printing plates are recycled
- Press solutions are alcohol free
- All spent solvent and oils are recycled into an alternative fuel
- Waste sheets are reused for Make-Ready
- Extra scrap and spent Make-Ready paper is recycled
- Shipping pallets and corrugated is recycled
- All waste ink is recycled
